My name is Lady.

I was born in Padre Island, Texas but moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when I was 3 years old. Being raised in such a diverse area helped me to understand and connect to many kinds of people. The most common thing I encountered with people was pain and a struggle to overcome negativity. Within myself I have dealt with similar issues. As a result, I constantly felt a desire to help others, as well as, to prove people wrong about who I was and what I would become. This attitude has transferred over into my career as a tattoo artist.

In my work, I seek to help heal others and the most healing medium I've worked in is tattooing. From my experience with my clients: the stories I've been told, the memories that they've shared, it has shown me that tattooing isn't just about the art; it's about the people – a tattoo therapy of sorts. Sometimes it's just what a person needs to heal from the death of a loved one or regain their confidence in who they are. It's a hard medium to learn and master, but I love the challenge of learning something new every day.

Because of my passion for learning, my life goal is to learn every area of art that I can. I've had many challenges in my life and art has always helped me to overcome them, and honestly maintain my sanity. I believe learning is a gateway to greater things and a chance to understand myself on a deeper level allowing me to expand my abilities and express my perspective on life. A goal of mine is to help others express themselves in a way that they otherwise wouldn't be able to.

Outside of tattooing and my other art endeavors, I enjoy making music and spending time with my son. I've been singing since I was 6 and playing guitar since I was 11. I look forward to teaching my son music as he is already showing signs of his true artistic self even at his early age. It's an incredible joy watching his little mind expand with fascination as he learns about what else makes his momma so happy.

Currently, my tattoo style gravitates towards cross hatching/old illustrations, black and grey, and art nouveau style work. I pride myself in always learning something new and I adjust my style accordingly. My ultimate goal as an artist is to own a traveling tattoo parlor so that I can learn from other great artists around the states as well as see what else this country has to offer. With this being said, welcome to my page. Thank you for visiting and I look forward to hearing from you.
